Recently, there have been reports both in Japan and overseas regarding mobile batteries (and other products containing lithium-ion batteries) overheating or catching fire.
To ensure the safety and comfort of all our guests, we kindly ask for your cooperation when using mobile batteries in your guest room, as outlined below:
１）Unplug while sleeping or away from the room
To prevent fire or other accidents, when leaving your room or going to bed, please make sure to unplug mobile batteries from electrical outlets and stop charging the device
２）Pay attention to the placement when charging
When charging electronic devices with mobile battery, or charging the mobile battery itself using the room’s electrical outlets, please pay attention to where you place it.
※ Avoid the following locations:
・Near windows exposed to direct sunlight
・On flammable materials such as beds, sheets, curtains, or tatami mats
３）Check the charging status regularly
To prevent any accidents, please charge your devices in a place where you can easily monitor them at all times.
４）During room cleaning
If during a room cleaning our staff finds that a mobile battery is being charged in a potentially unsafe condition as described above, they may have to move it or temporarily stop the charging for safety reasons. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
